This years St Ives Food and Drink Festival runs from Monday 16th May to Sunday 22nd May and it's well worth a visit. There are food demonstrations, recipes, wine tasting, coastal food foraging, food market, and locally caught seafood on offer.
The hub of the festival will be on West Pier this year with the Food Producers Market taking centre stage as well as the cooking demonstrations. The Market is held on Sunday 22nd from 10am to 4pm and is a free event. Tregenna Castle are offering champagne tasting from their stand as well as a prize draw to win a Magnum of champagne.
St Ives Farmers Market runs every Thursday from the Backpackers, Lower Stennack, St Ives, which is in the town centre just up from the cinema. So if you can't make the festival you'll always find a selection of local treats in there each week.
St Andrew's Bistro are running a cooling demonstration on Saturday 21st May. On Sunday 22nd May Porthgwidden Beach Cafe are also hosting demonstrations. Both are free events.
