Her Majesty is coming to Cornwall!

Residents of the Scilly Isles will be greeting the Queen tomorrow in her first visit to the region in more then 30 years.

Travelling by Royal train tomorrow morning, the Queen and Prince Philip will start their visit in Penzance before flying to the Isles of Scilly.

The Queen will officially open a new sports facility at the Five Islands School, meet the widow and daughters of Matt Lethbridge, the much-decorated lifeboat coxswain career fisherman after whom a new £53,000 fishery patrol boat has been named, and will also see the rescued old town clock which will mark Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee next year.
