Aside from all the wonderful activities Cornwall's natural landscape has to offer the visitor, here's a list of some of the more seasonal activities available to all ages across the region.
As always the National Trust offer great easter activities across the whole country, here's the best Cornwall has to offer:
Glendurgan near Falmouth, are hosting easter egg trails form the 3rd-6th April, with prizes. If you're not a chocolate fan, but fancy losing a few children for a few minutes, their serpentine laurel maze is an added bonus. Unfortunately losing children is not guaranteed!
Trelissick Gardens near Truro, have not yet advertised their Easter activities, however they do have great circular walks available which do not require entry to the gardens. There is a great cafe and woodland walks available all year round. You can see down the River Fal towards Falmouth. It's one of our favourite places to visit, especially with your four legged friends.
At Cotehele in East Cornwall their easter trail is around the garden, so the adults get to enjoy the wonderful walled gardens while the children get to follow clues. Fun for all the family. Charges apply.
Other activities over the Easter period...
If you are holidaying in St Mawes Arts and Crafts by the Sea are hosting events at Hotel Tresanton. Workshops are held on the 1st, 3rd & 5th April. See their Facebook page for details.
Helston Museum has a rather interesting event running, celebrating the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carrolls 'Alice in Wonderland' adventures. A maze in the museum, navigated by your nose, to find your way out! Many themed events and prizes. 30th march - 8th April.
Newquay Zoo have the a traditional egg hunt around the zoo with clues, with prizes available.
It's best to see the 'What's on Cornwall' guide for activities closest to where you're staying.
